Millions of years ago, dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Since they went
extinct, humans and other mammals have evolved to become the world's
most dominant species, but that doesn't mean that dinosaurs have been
forgotten.
Quite the opposite, actually. Dinosaurs have been extremely popular over the past few decades. In fact, they're so popular that a theme park in Irish Hill, Michigan, opened in 1963 that was completely dedicated to dinosaurs. The remnants still litter the forests of Irish Hill to this day.
Scale models of expertly crafted dinosaurs populated the area.

The park was exquisite for its time.
Scale models of expertly crafted dinosaurs populated the area.
But as interest waned and economic hardships took their toll, the park was forced to close in 1999.
Since then, the surrounding forest has slowly reclaimed the dinosaurs.
Aside from locals, not many people knew about these spooky relics.
Until urban explorer Seph Lawless stumbled upon it, that is.
Lawless made headlines last year for his exploration of America's abandoned shopping malls.
Sensing an opportunity, he grabbed his camera and started shooting.
It's sort of like Jurassic Park...except way less terrifying.
This old dino's face almost looks sad.

That's what I call a haunted theme park. I know they're just plastic,
but those dinosaurs' faces look like they're full of emotion.
